Under the wraps

Of your misogyny

Burying the laws

Of equality alive.

How do you cage

Implanting its seeds

How will you silence

My words

That I’ve whispered

Into ears,

Kissing the lips

Of another

As it leaves

To be whispered again?

A secret

Your eyes with cataracts

Of ego and pride

Fail to see.

What makes you think

Taking away my sword,

Sparing yourself red rivers
